Madsen Motorsports Collects 2010 Performance Touring Championship Trophy
1/22/11
Long Beach, CA
Family and close friends joined the Madsen Motorsports team at the 2010 Night of Champions Banquet on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The event, hosted by the National Auto Sport Association, was the venue at which the 2010 Championship Trophies were given out. Kevin Madsen, who won 9 out of 10 races this season and now back-to-back championships in the Performance Touring series, received his 2010 trophy.
“It’s exciting to receive this of course, especially two years in a row and in just my 2nd year back. I owe it all to my team, the people here tonight and my sponsors including Cool-Cups Natural Snacks.” Madsen commented. “Now it’s time to look forward. I’m proud to say that I’ve learned and proved everything I set out to do in this series quicker than even I expected. I will be focusing on some new exciting driving opportunities in 2011, but I won’t forget the challenges I faced here these past two years.”
